Ooops! That's not right - 2 in 2 years!? I've had success with the screw-drive, as opposed to the floppy chain drive openers. Good luck with it.

Both of them were the Stanley screw drive. There is a coupling attached to the motor shaft, a u-coupling that connects to the screw drive, and the ears broke off. I called the toll free number on the manual, and was told that Stanley went bankrupt last year, and the service company I talked to said that part was not available. I'm going with Genie.
