IF this is true and IF this is valid, why is no trial date yet set?

This is the mantra of the "Free Ted Maher" set.

I don't know why no trial date is set. All this proves is that, if you get in trouble outside the United States, you're at the mercy of the laws and procedures of the country you screw up in.

This is a bizarre set of circumstances, none of which would have occurred if Ted Maher had not decided to leave his family and traipse off to Monaco in search of filthy lucre.

The Free Ted Maher mantra is
Monaco give him a fair and speedy trial OR set him free.
Ted, after all, is an America citizen.
The US recently went to bat for a pot smoking liberal, caught in Russia and got him set free.
Why not the same push for Ted?
It's pretty simple when you get right down to it.
No trial = No case
