NOw, once again, I don't know whether the guy did it or not. But when someone screams and yells about some conspiracy to frame a poor American schmoe in a European state, and doesn't care to give the facts of what is alleged, it just sets my antennae quivering.

And in fact, note your own response. You don't say "look, all these allegations have been refuted; here's a link to information we're putting out about each of them." No, you just start up the "Green Beret" drum machine again.
