Yes, you are right...even if someone put her into a shallow grave, you would have a strong odor...and last summer was one hot summer! If that perp had attacked her from behind on a crest on a hill, she could have fallen down that steep incline where they are finding her bones...but there should have been a strong odor....and I would think that any joggers on that path would have smelled a strong odor and certainly any dogs would have picked up that odor as would have the other animals in that park...it doesn't make sense to me.

That's right. I hunt and fish and often run across dead carcasses.

The aroma is a medley of rotting fish and an open cesspool.

There's no way that stink wouldn't be noticable in a public park.
