I'm not worried Larry, are you worried? This is wishful thinking on the part of the europeans who believe in high taxes and low investment in defense. Our economy is basically strong. Do we have any problems? Sure. The attacks of 9-11 are still being felt but it's more a case of emotion then reality. Tell me one other place on earth that would have had such a minor blip after such a devastating attack.

The article does have some typical socialist attitudes but is dead on concerning tariffs. Short term, the damage can be repaired, long term they will be a disaster. Combine them with increased social and military spending and we are seeing some large hidden tax increases, more government borrowing and a rise in interest rates. Not good for the economy.
