One possible positive result of these ridiculous PC attacks on Lucas might be his becomming more alienated from the left extremists. As shown on the thread about his banning CNN from his properties because of Connie Chung spouting this sort of nonsense, he is starting to get annoyed by this stuff. If he discovers that he is in the same foxhole as the right, he may decide that other leftist ideas are no more credible than their attacks on him.

I missed that thread. I would love to read that. I got the Star Wars phantom menace book from DK, it is so obviously a slam at Republicans. (Evil grubs starting war over their hatred of paying their fair share of taxes - a lot of people missed in the movie that the main point was the bad guys were a BUSINESS association). So I love it when the left attacks him.

That said, I really respect the commitment he has had towards keeping the Star Wars series PG. So many people would have moved towards making them PG 13 by now.
