If Pakistan feels they have been backed into a corner by India they will use their nukes early on. A question I have is whether some third party might intervene to take control of the nukes in Pak. According to published news accounts, the USA is already offering India access to more advanced missile technology which they are salivating about. This would be in exchange for their backing off the Kashmir question for now.

There have been riots and reprisals ever since. Internally, things were starting to get pretty hot for India, though I don't know how things are there now. Then there was the explosion at their Parliment building, too.
I'm not so sure this is mere sabre rattling this time, but I guess we'll find out for sure very soon now.
