Colonel William Barrett Travis drew his sword and marked a line in the dirt of the Alamo and said who will stand for Texas; we can include all the southwest in this new challenge!

First, we have to make sure that the Legalized status/amnesty proposal never gets pass Congress.

After that, we have to gain control of our local and state officials. Cut off all benifits to illegals at the state level.

Find politicians who will be independent from the party elites.

Use the Constitution Party as a two x four to hit the Republicans over the head with. Who knows what may happen.

Whether we're successful or not it won't be easy.

That is a fairly solid and well thought out plan you have there.

It bares much thought.

I see your from Illinois. Any opinion on Jim Oberweis? I see he's come out against GWB's amnesty proposal.

I'll put the link up again.

To the thirteen days of glory At the siege of Alamo..."

And to that fateful day in San Jacinto when grandpappy wanted to shoot Santa Anna dead on the spot but the older boys insisted on taking him to Sam Houston.

Don't hold your breath, the Mexican army has been crossing over for years. The politicians continue shaking their heads and making hollow promises.

I have read over his thoughts on the subject and I agree with him(Oberweis). I am a Bush supporter but I am really confused about where he is going with this issue. I have an uneasy feeling.

You have alot of company.

Getting a guy like Oberweis in office would be a plus-plus for conservatives. He supports Bush on most issues but won't be a rubber-stamp for him either.

Thanks for you imput.
