Yup, on the Walkman -- they are checking on the particular brand that was missing from her apartment.

Fox reporting that when murderers bury bodies, they most often bury them shallowly, that if they buried them six feet deep most likely they'd never be discovered. Spring rains may have unearthed her.

Hey, are you a fan of Strangers in Paradise? It's an interesting coincidence that the most recent issue of that comic has a plot twist eerily like this event (if this is indeed Chandra Levy).

I can't imagine how they will blame Bush but then again sometimes it takes a lot of work for me to try and think as erratically as they do.

Condit lost the primary and is finished as a congressman. Dan Rather is now free to mention his name.

Well, as for the police using dogs in their search last year, I suppose if they didn't leave the paths, the dogs didn't have much chance of picking up any scent at all. I guess it depends on how far off the path this skull was found.

kind of 20-something uses a walkman these days? I think a 40-something reporter or cop would probably call it a walkman, even if it was something else.

You would have gotten an F in crime solving 101.

Interesting.... Coroner on Fox just said that if it was buried in just a few inches it would not have been found a year ago but washed up a year later. He said that if the killer had taken more time and put her in 6-12", the bones would never have been found.
This puts even more attention on Condit as he might not have had time to bury her properly and still get enough of an alibi to be credible. Also, that area can be very rocky as well as full of old tree trunks, making a burial even more difficult, especially for a guy who seems somewhat delicate.

One who walks for exercise maybe? Possibly it was an mp3 or CD player walkman. yes they do use them.

Well, somehow this will be Ashcroft's fault, you know. He is the designated victim for the DNC this week.
Seriously, I am wondering why this body wasn't found last summer. That in itself is a big mystery.

Should read. They both knew.Hillary and Vince. Condit and Chandra.

Spring rains may have unearthed her.No, it's generally small animals, (coyotes, dogs etc) are the cause of shallow graves being compromised.
