Israel's intelligence is rated as the best in the world, have they stopped it? I heard similar doom and gloom coming from Cheney and Bush this weekend, should they be fired? I don't care for Mueller or the fbi for that matter. The whole myriad of alphabet agencies should be gutted, but can they stop a suicide bomber? Not likely. We've spent the last week or so berating them for not be honest/realistic with us. A touch of honesty, or a dose of reality, goes a long way. Blackbird.

There are a couple of big problems here and they are the Systems fault of which the FBI is part of.The FBI use to be a crackerjack operation.That is before the lawyers and elected self serving politicians got involved.I dont advocate a Hitler State but they FBI,CIA,INS could best serve this country if given the ability to do so. When it comes to terrorist if we dont suspend some rights all of our enemies will come together and defeat us.Our enemies are using the rule of law and their money to wipe us out and in the long run if some changes are not made they will succeed.Where are all of these people trained ?To start with their lawyers get trained in the US and know that you can buy the American Justice System.For every good prosecuting attorney you have out there you have thousands of defense attorneys and a lot of them leave prosecuting once they learn the ins and outs and go on to some big law firm or form their own and get rich. The defense attorneys talk about all of the resources of the government but the resources of the government is spent on the court system with all its legalise. The only person who gets close to what is known as a fair trial is the average to poor person that does not have the big bucks to pay those on the take.Make no mistake about it court is not about justice it is about playing the game and the system.Then you have the elected officials we as voters elect and fall for their lines and then they sell out to the highest bidder.It is a known fact that the dollars going to elect our representatives are from the people with the most power and foreign governments.Power translates dollars and vice versa.Most of the people in this country cant identify the pictures of the government leaders.They are busy going about making a living and paying taxes and dont really have time to keep abreast of things and that is the way politicians want it.I know because I did the same thing until I retired.You know the government doesnt want you to have idle time and become educated they want you to stay busy and entertained.The average citizen works,keeps his nose clean and the government and criminals clean us out.Why do you think our school systems are in the shape their in?Our school sustems have been taken over by liberals right under our nose and our people are not being taught the truth they are being brainwashed.America is becoming more and more Socialist every day.I will bet you 40% of the people who vote cannot read and explain who or what they are voting for.I have seen the court system at work and directly from an individual standpoint.I have seen the system as an elected official.They are out of order!Now getting to Mueller personally.I am not for or against him but he cant be any worse than Louis Freeh and dont fool yourself most of these people are politicians also and cater to certain elected officials.Mueller is probably saying this because under our present system we do not have the ability to stop this,it is going to happen and he knows it and doesnt want to be accused of covering it up. We need to chech out disbanding rights for foreigners and cutting back on immigration and try to get our house back in order before its too late.And in closing our INS has been under military fire from Mexico within our own borders and your leaders dont want you to know and they are doing nothing about it.It is all about getting the dollar and the vote it is not about you and I the everyday average American.

All whining, all the time. I have yet to see how "they" would "stop it," have you? If you do, how about flagging me!

The term that comes to mind is "Gutless Wonders".

I believe Mr. Mueller was confirmed by the Senate in late July or early August 2001. I guess a fact like this might not fly well when one is trying to card stack to a fallacious conclusion.

By the way, thank you for your for your selfless zeal in countless great posts. Please pace yourself for the long haul. I worry.

What kind of a defeatist attitude is that to lead with at this time!
We are not in the same problematic situation geographically as is Israel
for one thing, although it is obvious we have to rally to get some
serious situations remedied involving illegal aliens and others.

The NY Post editorialists are absolutely correct.
