Wow. This brings back memories for me. When my father was stationed in Germany, we would sometimes go to the local German pool (as opposed to a DOD facility). One summer, when I was about 10, a (probably Turkish as the most common immigrant at the time)teenage boy grabbed the top of my swimsuit and tried to pull it down to do who knows what. I screamed help in German as loud as I could a couple of times and he backed away. I hadn't really forgotten it, but I also hadn't put it into perspective with current problems they are having there. Luckily, he didn't get away with much, but I was not comfortable there after that.
