I only have one question. Were Bush and Ashcroft always dimocRats or have they switched sides recently.? There is absolutely no reason to kiss *** of the dims when we have tons of instances where they were guilty of voter fraud. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????

And this should bother Republicans how? If we committed no fraud in any of these states, this is the best thing that can happen. I am sure this type of lawsuit is going to be a boon for Republicans. Bush is too smart to let loose the Justice Department unless he knows pretty much the end result of the case.

So far, Al, Bill, Terry and Jesse haven't produced one disenfranchised African-American voter that was prevented from voting by a Bull Connor style Road Blocks set-up by Jeb's racist mob of State Troopers. Just like all the off-the-wall accusations that have been hurled about Florida 2000 by the Democrats, this disenfranchised African-American voter hasn't stuck. If there was a strong Democrat case for Al's victory being stolen, it would have already entered the court system. So all they can do is say, "We wuz robbed", "Bush is stupid", "Polls don't matter", "Bush was selected not elected" and, of course, "We support the President in the 'War on Terror'" (Except when we can score political points).

Can't wait for these cases to be filed!

Plus, David Brock has just been revealed as a Nut House Author. Can life get any better today? This lawsuit and Brock.

Ahhh.... but you failed to read the earlier post:

"Carl Cameron said this started when Clinton was still president. Maybe politically Ashcroft couldn't say no."

So a lawsuit that started BEFORE Bush/Ashcroft had any power. The choices?

1. Let the suits go forward and settle once and for all ALL of the voting discrepancies including those that were tossed out ie military.

2. Stop the suits and forever be suspected/accused of "stealing the election", AND being willing to cover it up afterwards because you have the power to do so.

It's really a no-brainer here.

O.K. I was patient and read thru all of the posts. Now let me say this.

90% of you guys sound like idiots. There are nine jillion accusations out there, stemming from the 2000 election, but Like a Vetoed CFR bill, just brushing them aside does not make them go away. What Does?

having a Court say there is no merit to the charges. I am sure you all followed the election news as closely as I did, and what did it tell you? After removing the media slant, the allegations are baseless. Story after Story after Story, over time revealed no truth to the allegations.

I'll also go out on a limb here and say that the limited english thing, will turn around and bite some dems on the ass. (Cubans living in Dem Controlled precincts....)

But that having een said, Having DOJ sue the aforementioned states, removes the ability to criticize the Administration, from the lefts list of things to whine about, Plus it opens the door, for increased Scrutiny at the Polls by a REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. Which is how these cases usually turn out...(Jeb = Gov. Geo. = Pres... What do you really think is going on here...sheesh..)

You guy really ought to learn to think things thru, from a strategery standpoint.
