Why anyone would stick with AOL when highspeed internet service is available at a comparable cost is mind-boggling.

How cheap? I heard it is still about $40 per month. I am waiting for it to drop to under $30 per month (including free installation) and then I will make the switch.

I am paying $32 per month for high speed service. I had been paying $20 a month for dial up service with Prodigy plus $15 per month for a second phone line.

There's no need for a second line with DSL service, so I figure I'm saving $3 bucks a month for a lightning quick connection and no disconnects, ever.
