Isn't there a 300 yard range somewhere near Greenville?

Yes, there is. It's north of a small town called Cumby and it's called the Outback Range. I've visited it once and it seemed to be a pretty nice place.

Cumby is between Greenville and Sulphur Springs on I-30.

The gun club I'm a member of had some kind of a fun-shoot competition there last month, but I've just had too many conflicts with my schedule to make it.

I thought there was a website about the Outback Range, but I can't seem to find it. I'll forward it on to you if I'm able to locate it.

Thanks for the information on the Outback range. I'll try to get there after the Paris match. There was a article about it in the Dallas Morning News. That lease I have has a open area for 300 yards and I hung a bowling pin out there a month ago. The pin is still there.
