Shooters- targets got mailed today. Sent by US Priority mail , claims 2-3 days delivery, so you should see them by the end of the week. Everybody PLEASE post on this thread when you receive them. IF everybody gets them by this Saturday, I'll set the return postmark date to Monday, July 1st.

Save the return address (mine), that is where you will return your targets, using the same method, Priority Mail.

Your package contains 6 targets (described above). The rules are described in this thread. Post any questions/concerns/issues to this thread and ping me and Shooter 2.5 for resolution.

Good Luck Shooters! Targets with visible powder burns will be disqualified ;^)

If it's not critical that July 1st is the return date, them why don't we push that date off until the Saturday following the long July 4th weekend?

The four-day holiday weekend should give everyone a chance to get their range time in, and would put a patriotic touch on this whole shootin' match.

Thank You, I know how much effort is involved.

As for the USPS, all delivery times for anything other than Express Mail, are estimates. Meaning: "We probably will try real hard to get it there about when we should, but we won't guarantee the darn thing will be delivered at all"

Sounds good, but if they don't arrive by Friday, it'll have to wait until we get back from our vacation around the middle of June. Leaving on Saturday. I'm guessing that the 4th of July weekend is going to look really good from my perspective (I've got too much experience with the Post Office...) :)

A postmark date after the 4th, July 8 or 9 (always pushing for that extra day) would be nice. As a weekend shooter, alternate at best, it give me some extra days.

I assume I'm the Il off your list. I only shoot in Wi (dumb IL laws). Maybe ping the other WI shooter for me? Could get together.

"Match" rifles were clear to me at first, but in a high caliber context. Reading the thread, I was planning on using an elderly Rem 513T for the rimfire. Is that OK?

That's perfect. I've got a Sunday off the beginning of June and can get out and do the shooting. Maybe I'll watch Full Metal Jacket for inspiration.
