What Did Dan Rather Know, and When Did He Know It?
Over the weekend, the CBS News Web site carried an article that include this odd claim: The Washington Post said Saturday that a top-secret briefing memo presented to President Bush in 1998 focused on efforts by Osama bin Laden to strike at targets in the U.S.

Astounding !
More evidence of the CBS/Dan Rather bias.

I think that someone figured out that it was Hastings that leaked the info. I think Blather should be investigated. And why not mention that Clinton was President in 1998. Everyonw knows it. I think they just wanted a bunch of fodder to feed on all weekend. No matter if its true or not. Misleading the public seems to be what the press is all about.

What was that figure in 1992...?
90 percent of the media voted for the Clintons vs. Pres. Bush.

Great to see the incompetence caught and irrefutable! Or is Rather's Bias? Or is it both?
Either way - nice post!

Read David Horowitz article "Why Bush is Innocent and the Democrats Are Guilty" at the online line site of Front Page Magazine! It is really good and documents the Clinton Administration's culpability in 9/11! Sorry, I can't connect the link but the address is "frontpagemagazine.com" Great Article!

For appeal reference.
Here again, is a case where the internet, in capturing the text at the time of publication, can be shown for preserving the attempt to hide media bias in how stories that are "corrected" often take out the "spin" or add it.

Given that many in the news media lean to the left, it's ironic that their own neglect in researching the facts of the story has ultimately exposed to the general public the big smelly elephant in the middle of the living room that none of them dared to mention. The object of the news media's scornful claims of irresponsibility is actually Bill Clinton.
This week began with the news media/Democratic pundits going into convulsive orgies over another spoon-fed Democratic Happy-Meal - the Bush-Cheney fundraising 9-11 picture. It's ending with NBCs Tim Russert on Meet the Press still SHAMELESSLY BEATING the dead horse of terrorist-blame-game with guest V.P. Dick Cheney (long after even the original architects of this ill-planned Democratic strategy were scrambling for cover)

Yep, they just sit around and make up news to fill the web pages and reports. I love it.
