Kudos to the Young Republicans and Hispanic Republicans who organized the Freep, provided the signs, and notified members of the H.A.T. FR Chapter. Hopefully, we will be able to work with these organizations in the future.
The Jeffords defection has not been forgotten. He knows he is a liberal democrat, and now he knows that we know. If anyone from Vermont sees this thread, we have a message for you. THROW THIS PHONY OUT AT YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY.
Pictures available soon.

Caught in a lie. Just like so many of his liberal friends. Lies don't seem to bother their constituents. The Vermont Republicans really need to rub him out. Republican voters need to make sure they never vote a lib in again.

did u actually get to see the jerk or did he slide in a side door?

Way to go Texas Freepers!

We got to see Kirk and Jeffords go through the FRONT door. We chanted him real well.
Channel 26 and Channel 39 had coverage of the Freep on their 9:00 news. That is a good sign.

Wasn't Jeffords promised some lucrative government post that would directly affect agriculture in his state by Tom Daschle and that never materialized? It is too sick. The Democratic Party should be required to come with motion sickness bags.

Here's what the Chronicle had to say about it. I also saw clips on channels 11 and 13 at 10PM
Jeffords visit irks GOP Independent backs Democrat Kirk at fund-raiser
By ERIC BERGER
Copyright 2002 Houston Chronicle
A Sunday visit to Houston by U.S. Sen. James Jeffords, whose exit from the Republican Party gave Democrats control of the Senate, sparked protest from local conservatives who labeled him a traitor and a coward.
That Jeffords, an independent from Vermont, would attend a fund-raiser for Ron Kirk reflects poorly on the Democratic senatorial nominee, who has pledged to support President Bush, the Republicans say.
"Kirk is associating himself with someone who entirely lacks morals," said John Wilson, who joined a dozen protesters outside the Tanglewood home where the $5,000-a-plate fund-raiser was held.
"Jeffords stabbed the president in the back. If you call yourself a Republican, it doesn't change. You don't change what you believe in."
Before the fund-raiser, Jeffords said he changed parties because Bush was not committed to funding education.
"That's where I had the biggest difference with him," Jeffords said.
When he changed his affiliation to an independent last year, Jeffords ignited a political firestorm and caused both Republicans and Democrats to refocus their efforts on the 2002 congressional elections.

Absolutley great! It is wonderful that the Chronicle story was NOT that Jeffords was in town - but that he was FReeped!
Thanks to the The Young Republicans, and The Hispanic Republicans for initiating this and contacting us. I hope this cooperation is a trend for the future.
