His suggestion that anyone questioning the President on the War has to worry about burning tires being placed around their necks was another loathsome attack on the honor and decency of most Americans who know all too well just who the enemy is........THE MEDIA ELITE

Thanks for reminding me of this. Dan RATher has gone to far with these kinds of remarks. What is he trying to imply by saying such an outrageous thing?
I seriously am beginning to wonder about the state of the sanity of some of the media elite.

Note to journalists: It is a tough world out there. Don't be naive, you are dealing with very bad people. When seeking information for a news story it might be perceived by these very bad people that your are a naive person working for a legitimate newspaper (which is beyond their comprehension), or you are a naive person who could be working for an enemy intelligence agency. Either way, the odds of taking a dirt nap are too high. For a news story that is.

My thoughts and prayers were with him this past weekend. I understood him to be a huge Bluegrass fan, and my family and I went to a Bluegrass festival this past weekend. I specifically thought about him and prayed for his wife and child. God rest his soul.

Investigative journalism in Pakistan is dead. It died with Danny Pearl. Why did these evil people film this other than to send a message to the world? That Pearl was Jewish and American was just added cream. He died because certain powers in that shithole of a country doesn't want the world to know what is really going on there.

Rest in peace, Danny. At least some of us know and won't forget.
