I hear what your saying and see that you're trying to rationalize this government intrusion, but that dog won't hunt.

The choice of whether or not to allow smokers should be left to the owner of the property/business, period! If said owner caters to more smokers than non smokers, it should be his right to cater to his customers. Big Effin Brother has no right to infringe upon this basic freedom.

Everyone knows the risks associated with smoking and 2nd hand smoke. If one CHOOSES to patronize businesses which allow smoking, so what? It's called freedom of choice. IMO, anyone who condones this jack booted law is a fool for not recognizing the fact that it infringes on our basic freedoms. Just like alcohol, smoking is still LEGAL. If one doesn't choose to patronize a business that sells alcohol and assume the risks associated with mingling with inebriated patrons, that's fine. If one doesn't choose to patronize a business that reeks of cigarette smoke, that's fine too... Geeze!

There's something very wrong when we allow buttinskis and their good intentions to take away our freedoms. And there's something very wrong with your PC crowd that's leading the charge.... Get a life!
