it's interesting that you mention bingo Halls. We don't have any per se, but the fire companies, churches and fraternal organizations have always held bingo nights as one of their main fund raising functions.
They all took a very big hit in the wallet when the state allowed the 3 horserace tracks to start operating slot machine casinos. Well, the fire companies and the fraternal groups are exempt from this when they are holding fundraisers - but as far as I can tell - the churches aren't.
This is going to be very interesting to watch in the coming days and weeks!!!
#15....... Our City has quietly allowed Legions to allow smoking, as I mentioned before, they are building smoking huts for bus drivers, to me this is an admission that things are not as they seem, they are backtracking, hoping no one will notice.
