ROTLMAO!
Please enlighten us, oh great Illumined Yogi.
Tell us of Your One Moral Law.
Yap,yap,yap, snarl, growl lift leg.
Most of the time.
So you don't buy into their lame argument that laws somehow thwart free will?
-- Call in the anonomods, maybe they'll clean up for you.
How do you spell that?
Then why did you ask?
Don't be cruel to yourself.
Don't be cruel to others.
Don't be cruel to God.
In other words, be kind.
THAT! Do I get a prize?
Wow, a gold star. Thanks Tpaine.
"Don't be cruel to others." - Lest they be cruel to you. - Sure. - Golden rule I live with. [Carry a big 'ruler' tho, just in case]
"Don't be cruel to God." - Your God can be harmed by man? Mine can't.
"In other words, be kind." - The kindest thing you can do for most people, CJ, is to let them live in peace to make their own way. It's the constitutional way. -- Why don't you try to practice what you preach?
Since day one. Read a book.
Reading is fundamental.
The Federal Government is under no obligation to recognize laws passed outside the "Republican Government" guaranteed by the Constitution.Someone ought to sue the community college you went to to mislearn the law so badly. Referenda are legitimate legal mechanisms and it is up to the states to decide how they work. The FedGov has no standing on this unless the state has somehow run afoul of the XIVth. You are parroting a true jackbooted thug's interpretation fo federal power. But I'm sure you think you are smarter than James Madison.
----------------------------------
To dream the impossible dream,
to fight the unbeatable foe,
to bear with unbearable sorrow,
to run where the brave dare not go...
To right the unrightable wrong,
to love pure and chaste from afar,
to try when your arms are too weary
to reach the unreachable star!
This is my quest --
to follow that star
no matter how hopeless,
no matter how far --
To fight for the right
without question or pause,
to be willing to march into hell
for a heavenly cause!
And I know
if I'll only be true
to this glorious quest
that my heart
will be peaceful and calm
when I'm laid to my rest.
And the world will be better for this
that one man, scorned and covered with scars,
still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable stars!
