scattered across various countries and continents
and frequently on the move,
locating addresses of victims,
communicating secretly with foreign intelligence agents,
reserving airline tickets,
checking flight schedules,
checking weather forecasts,
etc,
etc.

None of this
especially the first
could have been done by telephone
(with the possibility of bugging)
much less with snail-mail.

I understand Al-Marabh and friends
made great use of the internet connection
at the Toronto Public Library.

Unfortunately,
the authorities learned this
a little to late.
