We discussed sending someone inside....[sigh] The hostility outside was so bad we decided that might not be a good idea.

After seeing the shots from inside the meeting on Channel 11, things were pretty sparse inside. We're still learning as this was a new FReep for the majority of us. I promise better results next time.

The veterans among us didn't really want to go in, and the rest felt we should leave it to the veterans. There was the gentleman from the national VFW (immediate past-president), and I think a few others going in were regular vets, not Cynthia plants. I may see if I can find a phone number for the national VFW guy and get a comment from him.

Like I said, we'll know better next time. The mood was ugly outside and we expected more of the same inside. The last thing we wanted was to make the news in a negative way.
