They don't have oil like Venezuela and Mexico so I'm not too worried. There are huge numbers of impoverished people in Brazil so I've never believed this nonsense of it being an economic power to be reckoned with. The only South America nations with a decent wealth distribution are Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Chile.
Brazil is really just a huge banana republic.
With Castro and Chavez turning Venezuela into Cuba II and calling leaders in the region to rally around them
in opposition to the U.S., we need to be worried and oppose socialist leaders who will heed their call.
