I love that photo of Reagan with the champaign glass............it's as if there is some unsaid thing, a certain optimism that characterized his presidency; not a rah rah type thing, but that which spoke of a certain confidence, that regardless of whatever enemies we might face, we would be those hoisting a champagne glass in the end.
