Excellent post. I wish we weren't having an image moratorium around here.

If someone had told me at age 18-20 that I would get misty eyed over the demise of Ronald Reagan...I would have bet my life against it. I am sure glad I didn't.

He was like a father figure. As I grew older, he appeared much wiser..LOL. He was exactly what we needed at the time and it's still unbelievable that we stooped so low only 4 years after he left office.

I'm with you. I am 39 and the thought of him dying is about the only thing in life that can bring a tear to my eye.

He was, indeed, a father to a generation that will never forget and never be able to repay what he gave us.
