Yeah, I hate to be cynical, but did you notice that once they got the "bad news" over with, they just had to say: "this contradicts the White House...no one could imagine this would happen""...JERKS AND MORONS!! The truth will out, despite all...I hope?!?!!!!

Yes, I did notice it. In a roundabout way, they're blaming President Bush again for not preventing the 9/11 attacks.

The report contrasts with Bush administration officials' assertions that none in government had imagined an attack like Sept. 11 before that time Yup, that is the most important paragraph in the story..Right from the DN F*NG C

Ugh! WTIC 1080 AM radio just did their 2:30 newsbreak and they're spinning this story against Bush already! Talking Head Dana Whealan just summarized this "1999 Report Warned of Suicide Hijack" story this way (my paraphrase of what she said):
It turns out that someone DID imagine a terrorist attack where planes would be slammed into US buildings as on September 11. A 1999 report warned the executive branch that Osama bin Laden's terrorists might hijack an airliner and dive bomb it into the Pentagon or other government building. The report contrasts with the Bush administration officials' assertions that none in government had imagined an attack like Sept. 11 before that time.
Of the entire article, THAT'S the part of it she just HAD to read! No mention of the Clintoon administration whatsoever! >:-(
And she read it in a very snide tone of voice.
