Please note that on September 15, a mere four days after the attacks, the Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney, told Tim Russert on Meet the Press that the intelligence services had, in fact, received general threat information about Al Quaeda, its threats to attack American interests, and the like. There has been no release of "NEW INFORMATION" about alleged warnings to the White House. The so-called revelations from this past week are a pathetic attempt by the Democrat Party to tarnish the popularity of this nation's president. The American people see right through this. So should you.
To the point of the intelligence services not "connecting the dots" -- there is much fault to be found here with the previous administration, the Congress, and petty turf wars between governmental agencies. The Democrat Party's effort to lambast the Bush administration with these long-standing ills is atrocious. But par for the course.
Stop! You use too many facts. You could scare this factless Dem away while were having fun.(/sarcasm)
