[history]
Departing "Early Show" host Bryant Gumbel says he and his former "Today" co-host Katie Couric weren't exactly pals. "We were two different kinds of people," Gumbel tells Barbara Walters on tonight's "20/20" (10 p.m./Ch. 7).
"What sometimes she thought was funny I would think was not; what I thought was funny, she thought was juvenile," Gumbel says.

Face it, Gumball, you're a juvenile joke. Face it,Liz,both Cryin' Bryan' AND Kute Kommie Katie are BOTH jokes. Not jokes in the "Ha,Ha!" sense, either.
BTW, I wonder what effect this has between Cryain' Bryan's bestest buddy (I LOVE ya,man!)Matt Liar and Kommie Katie?
To: Hunble
Nobody ever said that (Gumball) had actual talent. Nobody ever said it b/c it would have been an outright lie.

Giggle, I used the name "Gembel" to prevent any attempt of slander.
For the same reason, I love the Freeper term: "Moose Limbs."

Gumball is a no talent quota boy. He is infinately qualified for the fry job at burger king. But that is about it. Hey bryant, kicked your ex lately?
To: Liz
Gumble lacked brains and common sense. He was unbearably boring. But he gets an interview with Walters. Far too often Walters wants to give exposure to the sealzy. Her interview with Monica the geek was a farce. She also had supporters of the child murderer Amy Grossberg on her show.

Gumball is a no talent quota boy.....qualified for the fry job at burger king. And if he does a good job at the fry basket, they'll promote him to "ketchup pumper."

.....Katie was not of the right racial make up to make her and Gumbel the same "type of people." Gumball's condescending attitude would have annoyed even Mother Teresa.

She also had supporters of the child murderer Amy Grossberg on her show. Walters was appointed by ABC to do all the "resurrection" cases. You got a problem?
You did something socially unacceptable? Aunt Babwa will resurrect your reputation.
IMO, Babwa's interview with Amy Grossberg's is the thing that got her in jail. Backfired bigtime
when Grossberg who garbage dumped her newborn baby was supposedly prepped to cry to show
how "sorry (barf) she was but the baby dumper couldn't muster any tears.

Gumbel vs. Kouric. Geez, who do you root for in this one...? It's like U.S.S.R vs. China.

This is good. It is the first sign that the media are starting to turn on each other. We need to encourage this.
I propose that about half of us write Gumbel and tell him how great he is and if it hadn't been for Katie he would have been the star on NBC.
The other half write Katie and tell her that the ungrateful Bryant doesn't realize that without her he would have been nothing.
Maybe we can get a full-scale media war started. Heheheh.

So diabolical. Hey, maybe we can get 'em to duke it out in the ring.....
