Thank you for the link. That's exactly what I recalled -- that hijackers were already in the cockpits as a courtesy, under the false pretense that they were colleague pilots. And that there were many other flights that morning with others (presumably terrorists) in the cockpit under the same courtesy rules; these flights would also have been hijacked if the government hadn't taken such swift action to ground all planes. But those people weren't held. They're loose now, planning who knows what.
