Democrats started that day bashing the President and by the end of the day after revealing they knew too they are backing off and defending themselves. We can't blame it entirely on the Democrats. After all the Liberal media's behavior is just as shamefull.

I was thinking today how amazing it is that there wasn't any outrage over Daschle and Gephardt's request of the cable news channels to not show President Bush so much. And there wasn't any outrage over the fact that MSNBC and CNN complied with their request. Say now, isn't that the government controlling the media and the press? Shouldn't that be an outrage to our friends in the free press? Shouldn't the NYT have editorialized like crazy about that? But no, they didn't. Not a peep. They all like to condemn other countries that have government controlled media and yet, here we have it in our own backyard and not a peep. Disgusting. I hate the press, WITH A PASSION!
