Why does the DOD spend millions of dollars in denying VietNam and DesertStorm claims, instead of assisting wounded Veterans?

Hi Lodwick, what amazes me too is how we send tons of money to other countries and not take care of our veterans here. At least if we are sending money like that we should always take care of our veterans FIRST. Keep our word to our veterans no matter what.

It makes no sense. A veteran should never have to fight in the way our veterans do to get their benefits. They fight the war and then have to fight the system. Some too sick to do it so they just give up. It's not right!
