Caroline is not alone. Though data is hard to come by, several London mosques have been reporting an increase in the number of converts to Islam, especially since 11 September.I would wager that among those whom the God of the Bible will hold most accountable for this hemorrhage of English youth into the spiritual cesspool of Islam are the leaders (for the past 100 years, or so) of the Church of England.
What do you expect, when you appoint spiritual dullards who openly deny the Resurrection and the need for the new birth -- and forget why the Church of England ever separated from the Roman Catholic Church.
Naturally, the feckless Anglican prelates want reunification with Rome: These Anglican lightweights have NO inner convictions whatsoever (that are informed by Holy Scripture). At least Rome has some decent political clout and media exposure!
Young people reared under such apostate (Anglican) spiritual shepherding can only be expected to look elsewhere to fill their aching inner spiritual needs.
And looking they are -- to Rome, to Mecca, to Pentecostalism, to wherever, it seems, but to the historical Reformed faith that turned England upside down in the 1600s and 1700s and made her the world's greatest miltary power for centuries.
The Anglican Church has been reduced to hollow meaninglessness housed in impressive edifices.

It is also true that entire countries can turn back on communism. Hell will feeze over before that happens with Islam. I can even imagine a day when the Chinese are no longer communist. That simply won't happen with any of the Islamic countries.

It is the same old face. Evil. To use a great line from a movie:
"Don't Piss Down My Back and Tell Me It's Rainin'"

I see two reasons for Westerners to convert to Islam.
1. Dissatisfaction with the PC Christian churches especially in Europe. They have a need for a religion of conviction.
2. Alienation and hatred of thier country. Islam is the enemy of Europe for 1400 years. Converting to Islam is cultural treason.
This also applies for Blacks in the US.

This is what happens in Europe when it proudly describes itself as post-Christian. Spirituality does not tolerate vacuum.

And if a nominal, non-practicing Anglican becomes a real, practicing Orthodox Christian, he or she enters right into the heart of God! My dad is an Anglican minister, now retired. I have heard him say more than once that of all Christian denominations, the Orthodox church is the most faithful to the theology and rituals of the ancient church.

Yah, I gotta agree about the 10 yrs Ben. Wonder if anyone's ever explained the Islamic concept of divorce to her.
'When I first started wearing the hijab to work, there were a few jibes about Afghanistan and stuff, but people are fine now. They say things like: "That's a nice one you're wearing today."
I think you folks have it not quite right. This is a 'fashion statement'. Politically correct Fashion statement, nothing more.
I wonder what went through these airheads heads when they came across lines like "We have prepared for the unbeliever, whips and chains, and blazing fires!" Koran 4:76. I don't have any idea how people can read about inserting hot irons into peoples bodies, pouring boiling water and oil on them and the other methods of torture that the Koran teaches and not see Islam as the horror that it is.
Yeah, I'd like to talk to this lady in 10 years or so.
Let her marry an islamic. Then ask a couple years later how she likes it.
Godspeed

Anyone who converts to being a Moo these days seems to me to be evidencing brain damage. Joining a stupid, violent cult (which oppresses women, ironically) is not terribly impressive.

We just get a lot more attention I suppose and that sparks people's interest.' Attention? Instead of a new dress, face lift or tattoo the latest fashion is, convert to Islam. Sounds more like a PMS outbreak to me.

Wow pluralism is kind of stupid at times seems like such a gross understatement in this case. If you want to get technical, pluralism doesn't necessarily mean anything goes,
it only means that more than one thing goes.
Once this is understood, it can be seen that pluralism is a good thing.
That is, room for plenty of variation within a shared moral framework.

The fact of the matter is that man does not live on bread alone but also seeks spiritual solace. I replied a few months back to a post on why former Christians can get attracted to misguided and evil religions. The Christian Church leadership has been invaded by liberals and feminazis who stand for nothing and do everything to destroy the moral and spiritual guideposts to life Christians base their lives on. A couple of years ago, I fell to talking to this young girl in London at Victorial Station. A bunch of the terrorist faith came and sat nearby and I recognized every trait of anti-British way of life with this lot and told her so. However, she had a wistful look and stated that at least their faith stood for something and they fought for it. She found the Anglican Church disappointing as it stood for nothing and any perversion was now welcomed!!! The youth today are confused and rudderless since the Patriachal family and religion which gave strength has been decimated by liberalism. Thus they are attracted to other religions which show a sense of purpose however misguided and evil they are.
