I believe that this article shows that sufficient justification exists for Western countries to disallow the distribution within mosques of copies of the Koran, or the teaching thereof, which has allusions to the specific hegemonistic aspects the author describes, on the basis that they are not religious passages at all but are insurrectionary in nature.

The new York State Supreme Court ruled in 1892 (or thereabout) that Islam was NOT to be afforded the same freedom of "religion" as was Christianity. That is their interpretation of the constitution, and to this date it has never been vacated or overturned. Just another ruling that the make-up-our-own-rules-as-we-go liberals ignore.
