I know someone who knows someone who works at the Bremerton Shipyards in Puget Sound where the nuclear subs are kept.

I know it sounds funny. Its my telephone man from Seattle who has a friend who works there. At least this is what he told me.

The nuclear subs are "kept" in Hood Canal on the other side of the peninsula that Bremerton is on - about 40 miles away - at Bangor, WA. To my knowledge, no subs are kept in Bremerton - some may have been worked on there - but I believe most of the sub shipyard work on the West Coast goes on in San Diego.
