I suppose you may be correct, that the story was changing during the course of the night. However, the key contention is that it did not address the residue found on the suspects until today, or more pointedly, until after the other story came out quoting the FBI as saying the tests were negative.
I never accused you of editing the story. I didn't even know you had posted the story earlier.
