'Tis truth!! It happened right here in little ole Texas.

Now that policeman 'took a bite out of crime' with the help of the Supreme Court.

If I were a police officer, I would be ashamed to give a seat belt ticket, or a 10 miles over the limit (on a highway) speeding ticket. This is not law enforcement, it is revenue gathering. And I don't see them giving tickets to old, beat-up carloads of people who cannot, and will not pay the fine. They pick and choose their 'victims.'

Cops generally don't bother pulling over car fulls of illegal aliens, that fit the profile, as they are basically untouchable and they will claim they don't speak english, they don't have insurance, registration, none of the passengers have ID and will claim no English. Even if they are stopped and given a citation or ticket, they don't show up for the court hearing anyway. It's a waste of time for law enforcement. Hell, they aren't even allowed to ask them if they are in the country illegally. LOL!

It's much easier to pull over an American on his way to or from work, for seatbelt violation, exceeding the speed limit by 10 mph etc.

As Americans, we are required to produce proper, current license, registration, insurance, etc. And Americans always show up in court and pay the fines because they know where to come and get you and you and you.

Amen!!! Police are supposed to find and punish the guilty, not harass the innocent. They have become (often unwilling, I believe) tax collectors for the welfare state.
