I started listenong to Rush in 1989. He NEVER railed against that President Bush daily, nor even remotely, the way he is doing to this one

I've stopped listening to Rush because of all his Bush=bashing. Forget the honesty business, Rush is up to something. Either he is trying to get a gig on CNN or he hears O'Reilly barking at his heels.

It's just entertainment, folks, but keep on bashing Bush and we'll have a Clinton back in the White House soon.

I don't mind a bit of bashing, but when Rush went on for about three straight weeks acting like a paid Sharon/Bibi shill, I couldn't believe it.

I stopped listening to Rush daily, three or four years ago, when he spent THREE hours talking about toe fungus, instead of Clinton and / or current events. He'd been losing me, for a very long time. If one reads FR, one does NOT need to listen to Rush !

I've tuned in, every now and again, over the ensuing years, only to find that Rush had gotten worse. This incesant Bush Bashing, is boring, counter productive, and isn't doing Rush any good either. He has more people complaing about this, than he has comlmentary E-mails. He hates this, and lost it, on air, several times in the past few weeks. His bloated ego can't take it. The emperor has NO clothes at all, now.

Unlike fringers and political naifs here, Rush actually does know that NO president is Emperor , with unilateral / complete power to do whatever he so desires to do. There are THREE branches of government, and the president doesn't make laws, nor is he able to repeal whatever was done prior to his administration, my saying so. So, this new act, that Rush has instigated, is a losing one, for him, as well as for those few ( who used to hate him / call him names here ) who are now suddenly championing him.

O'Reilly has NOTHING at all to do with this. Rush is a lazy man, who is pompous, arrogant, out of the political loop ( Newtie is no longer feeding him stuff ) , and long ago lost the " fire in the belly " , which made him not only interesting to listen to, but made those who listened to him, feel part of a group of similar , right thinking people. FR, and the FOX CABLE NEWS channel, have made Rushs's show , and Rush, far less relivant and important.

Neither. He is playing games with the audience, making himself look independent of the Republican Party. He is not. When the elections come around, he will say vote Republican, when GWB comes up for reelection he will say vote for GWB. He is not off the reservation, he is trying to regain credibility when it is too far off from the elections for it to matter.

If a Clinton gets back in the white house soon, it will be a Bush that did not not a Rush.

Bush has done some good things - but the Kyoto Treaty was a bit of nothing. The left did a lot of h and-wringing but it was purely for the media. There is a reason only one other nation had ratified it. It was going nowhere.

Bush is not perfect and if we all line up behind him and echo what he is doing, we will have another Clinton. We have to have the courage to tell him when he is wrong. And he is wrong on many things - immigration is the most dangerous problem we have in this country. It cannot be separated from terrorism and it is destroying this country.

He outdid the democrats on the education bill.

The farm bill is corporate welfare for the big agribusinesses who cross the palms of all politicians.

He 'out-toleranced' the Arab-American League shortly following 9/ll.

He is still allowing middle eastern men to come to this country and take flying lessons.

Didn't he back down on the arsenic in the water thing?

Remember this man works for us and he holds the future of this country and of our children in his hands. It is ludicrous to just stand back and clap our hands over everything he does.
