Coast Guard Announces 25 Terrorist Stowaways Loose in US

Fox News is reporting that 25 Islamic Radical terrorists have entered the country since March, as stowaways on cargo vessels of major carriers, docking in Miami, California, and I believe Virginia. They will brief law enforcement officials tomorrow in a classified briefing about the reliability of their information.

I am hoping I have not duplicated a post. I haven't seen anything on line yet about this. Fox has discussed it three times in the last half hour.

Yes, I've been hearing this too, the 3 ports were Savannah, Miami, and Long Beach. There will be an official announcement, I think the reporter said, tomorrow, when more will be revealed.

Fire at Shell refinery Olefin plant 05/13/2002
DEER PARK (KHOU) -- At 10:45 Monday morning, a fire started at the Shell Oil refinery in Deer Park. It happened Olefin Plant located in the 5900 block of Highway 225. Flames and thick black smoke could be seen for miles.

Emergency crews are working to put out the blaze. Officials are calling for residents in the area to "shelter in place."

Deer Park Independent School District is also securing students at schools near the plant. Traffic has been shut down in the area near the plant, including Highway 225.

Shell Oil officials say there have been no reports of injuries or damage to the plant. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.

That's right. There were four Pakistani men who came in on a merchant ship. I don't recall ever hearing a follow-up story on that as to whether they were found or not. Also, one of the students who was arrested in Virginia last week had maps of refineries.

THey found 2; that was reported but nothing about the other two or the support network to get them away from Norfolk. Another one of those 'sunk without a trace' situations.
