Molesting a child at an altar in a church is no greater abomination than molesting that child in a back alley. The Church is us, not a building.

Well, I don't agree with this because the Catholic church does have a stated responsibility of hospitality that back alleys do not have, a reason why we shut down back alleys easily but cannot do so with the Catholic church, except after maybe a trial if there was truly conspiratorial treason against the nation or the localities by the Catholic church.

in this case, not only has child's inherent jurisdiction been physicaly violated, but the additional contracts entered between him and the church have been used or abused to such end.

Very true.

Furthermore, sadly the Vatican leadership would seem to grant more protection to Palestinian terrorist than to innocent children.
