My 16-yr-old gets his license on Friday, and I am soooo glad for that! Now he will be able to drive himself to school, to church (he is the sound man, and goes in an hour early), and to the store when Mom needs something to finish cooking dinner!!
How exciting about your son's license! I remember when my blonde daughter first learned to drive and I restricted the area that she could go in. She could drive as much as she wanted as long as she did not cross the busy street leaving our neighborhood! Years later I had to laugh as she and her friends accounted the lengths they would go to figure out how to get where they wanted to go without crossing that street! LOL! I never realized that she took what I said so seriously! :)
