Welcome aboard GATOR NAVY from an OLD Navy vet.
How old you ask?
Let me put it this way. I was the third oarsman, second deck, starboard side.
Do have fond memories of time spent in Japan. Wonderful people and wonderful country.

Well I haven't around quite that long, but last week the base CO threw me for a loop when he doing a reenlistment for a sailor in my detachment (we don't have any officers ourselves). He was telling us how much the Navy had changed since he came in in 1972 and then he looked at me and said "and you probably came in about the same time, right Chief?" Uh, not quite, sir...10 years later actually. Didn't know I looked that old.
To: patton
I wish I did, no I don't know anyone in cable. That is a great idea Patton.

I gotta set a terminal up in my American Legion hall. That would rock. What a great idea Bro! The Brothers would LOVE that!
I'm Past Commander of Post 281 in Pennsylvania, I LOVE the American Legion!
