You conveniently forgot to add, in
YOUR world,
YOUR company will use the absolute cheapest labor to be found on the planet, period ... little children who should be in school, political prisoners, slaves and other 3rd World desperates etc, ... sufferers all, who are available 24/7 into the forseeable future, w/o any pesky gov oversight(that can't be bought off) or overlying moral authority.
Just so 1rudeboy and the rest of the GREEDMONSTERS can kick back in splendor watching their portfolios grow.
Ain't PREDATORY Capitalism great, comrade.

Ahh . . . the evils of predatory capitalism. My eyes grow misty as I remember (the days that I actually do remember) my days studying economics in Ann Arbor. Where did you study yours? Berkeley? Madison? Amherst?

It is truly amazing to me what has become to be known as a conservative viewpoint in this nation. Qwest moves jobs offshore. So what? I applaud them for making a decision that can cut costs for the company and return a bigger profit. In case you haven't figured it out yet, businesses are in the business of making money, not protecting jobs. Unions have caused this. They push up the cost of manufacturing, in turn making it less profitable for the business, who in turn goes to the government to ask for tariff protection eventually causing prices to rise and the economy to hurt. They did it, not I. If I still owned stock in a telecom they did exactly what I would want them to do as a stockholder. This nation is moving closer to a service economy for several reasons, one of which is the tariffs in place and the unions clamoring for more. To stop it? Well if you want businesses to build more in your area, what do you do aside of of corporate welfare(tax bonuses)? You cut the cost of production
