Haven't read this alternative proposal....so I'm shooting from the hip here.......but seems to me NO OTHER SYSTEM of taxation can possibly match the liberty enhancing benefits of the FairTax.

Under the FairTax, IRS Scrutiny of the intimate details of the financial lives of every American, Lien and levy abilities, tracking and reporting devices, ALL DISAPPEAR!

I frankly don't care if I end up paying more tax....I'll gladly pay to be free....effectivley purchase my freedom from indentured servitude.

The Fair Tax Act is the best legislative proposal, in written word and in principle, that I've ever seen. Those responsible for its concept, design and drafting have made a tremendous contribution. Now we must help them get the hearing it deserves, and enactment, which is all-important if we are to receive the fruits of those great principles. Tomorrow is another big day in the process, with the Fair Tax panel testifying for the Tax Reform Commission.
