Regarding the VetsCoR/FRN "AMERICA REMEMBERS" project, I'd like to ask you and the other frequent visitors to the Canteen if you would help us fullfill items no. 6 & 7 below:
1. 3:00pm local time, all participants at all locations conduct a public display such as: light candles, release balloons, honk horns, light headlights, group prayer, join in song, raise a glass;
2. Adopt-a-Base: portable cookouts, baked goods, large signed cards, flowers, plaques, t-shirts/hats, "Thank You" signs, etc. at VA Hospitals, Military bases, Recruit Training Commands, Recruiting offices, National Cemeteries;
3. Group visits to National Cemeteries;
4. Street rallies at related locales;
5. Media interviews;
6. Concurrent on-line threads at multiple military web sites;
7. Mass e-mailing to service members;
As the 27th gets close, if you could promote those items it would help us in our efforts to recognize our military men and women in this medium. Thanks for all you do here every day.
