State of world's children

Another view of the situation - this time from the Christian Science Monitor. I don't say you shouldn't read rags. But a rag is a rag, whether from the Left side of the bin or the Right.

Christian Scientists are not from the Right. They are neither Christian OR Scientists. It's just another cultish, neo-Christian bunch trying to pass as Christian. Doesn't pass the test, sorry.

OK...get this...even in your own freaky article.

"The HIV/AIDS pandemic, for instance, now exceeds most worst-case predictions made in 1990. Estimates hold that 500,000 children under age 15 died of AIDS in the year 2000. Every minute, six people between the ages of 15 and 24 become infected with the HIV virus, according to UN estimates."

AIDS/HIV is not prevented by the use of contraception. It is prevented by abstinence.
And:

"US Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson also urged the conference to consider abstinence as the most effective way of preventing transmittal of HIV/AIDS."

If you don't have promiscuous sex or do drugs, your chances of contracting HIV/AIDS plummets. If you abstain from sex and drugs, your chances of contracting HIV/AIDS goes to a number so small as to be nearly indistinguishable from ZERO.((We're talking parts per billion here))

Another view of the situation

Actually your link does not mention the 'Child sex book given out at U.N. summit' which is the 'situation' discussed on this thread.
