I'm an American. I am free. And it almost makes me cry thinking of the people who are not free.
Some people in the world can not show their faces because they are not free to what they want. Some are thrown in jail for praying. Some can't start their own business. Some can't even vote.
Freedom means doing what you want to do! It means you can believe whatever you want to believe. It use to be taht people would buy slaves but now it's against the law to own a slave in a America. He or she can speak when he or she wants.
People can work where ever they want to work. People can walk in the streets without carrying a gun. White and black people can ride on buses and sit where ever they want to sit.
Since Billie and Snow started the Canteen back in Oct., I have been an everyday visitor, and occasional poster.
How about putting up the graphic and link to FR's Finest? We've probably got lots of visitors who haven't seen that thread (Shameless plug for exposure).
It's another great day to honor our Armed Forces, past and present. Plus, What better way to honor them than to pray for their safety?
