You Might Be A Terrorist if . . .

In early April, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, representing 57 Muslim states, met in Malaysia for the purpose of defining terrorism and – big surprise – discovered they couldn't do it. It seems that too many of their buddies are in the business.

Apparently, the Muslim nations, in their hitherto failed quest to join the civilized world, need a little help understanding fundamental social concepts, like the fact that attacking and murdering innocent, defenseless civilians is wrong, no matter the context.

So, as a public service to these folks (and with apologies to Jeff Foxworthy), I offer the following examples of behavior suggesting a predilection to terrorism:

• You might be a terrorist if your expense report contains entries for bomb fuses, web belts, duct tape, and the dry cleaner's bill for laundering someone else's blood stains out of your head scarf.
  
  
• If the sight of people praying in a religious observance different than your own makes you want to pray as well . . . that Allah will give you the strength to strike down these infidel pig-dogs where they stand, you might be a terrorist.
  
  
• You might be a terrorist if you spend your waking hours devising ways to massacre Israeli civilians because none of them will give you a job because you spend your waking hours devising ways to massacre Israeli civilians.
  
  
• You might be a terrorist if you believe a young Arab woman's place should be restricted to the kitchen, the bedroom, or splattered over the inside of an Israeli grocery store.
  
  
• You might be a terrorist if Reuters, the Arab press, the European Union, the UN, Berkeley-California, or the U.S. State Department identifies you as an Arab freedom fighter.
