Exceellent article. When they say things like 'innocents' and 'unjustified violence" they have a different context. To the uninitiated ear, it may sound like a condemnation, yet it isn't due to their interpretation of their islamic laws and religious edicts.
I picked that up immediately after 9-11. What you heard from the Islamic community wasn't a condemnation of the specific attacks. What you heard was "We oppose the killing of
innocent civilians."
Using the Islamic/Arab/Clinton method of deconstructing language, the above view means nothing. No American is innocent, because they pay taxes to a government, that they themselves chose, which in turn are used to purchase tanks, planes and bullets which are sent to Isreal. Israelis aren't civilians because they belong to the reserve Army forces. Israelis certainly are not innocent, they are Occupiers.
