What makes you think any deals were made, from every single report I have ever read, Arafat was told what was expected from him, and he failed to meet the demands and now he will pay the price. No one has ever released a transcript from any of the meetings with Arafat, just a whole bunch of talking heads claiming we were negotiating with terrorist. There is a big difference between negotiating with someone and telling someone how it's going to be.

Major debate going on with the spouse who says Sharon won't kill Arafat because he is a nonissue, not relevant. Says Sharon will just isolate Arafat again.
